You are responsible for your financial security in retirement. It’s up to you to decide how much you need to save and what level of planning is required to meet your unique needs. Some people take a very hands-on approach. Others are more comfortable letting professionals take care of their accounts.

The ABA Retirement Funds Program (the “Program”) offers a number of tools and resources that can help different types of investors reach different types of financial goals. Here’s a quick summary of the Program services designed to improve the way you think about retirement readiness.

Help Over The Phone

Be Ready!

At any time, you can have a one-on-one phone conversation with a Financial Advisor1 to discuss financial matters such as managing school debt or preparing for retirement. The call is free and you’ll receive a Financial Snapshot2 customized for your situation. Call 844.253.8692 to talk with a Financial Advisor.

Have a Professional Assess Your Investment Strategy

Connect with a financial representative who can provide you advice on your Program account investments, Professional Management, and a personalized Retirement Evaluation3. If you hire the Professional Management financial representative to manage your plan account, there is an additional fee for this service, based on your account balance. Call 844.253.8692 for more information. The call is free and there is no obligation to enroll in the service. You can cancel this service whenever you like.

Online Planning Tools

Access the following tools by logging in to your Program account at


This interactive, educational experience pops up when you log into your account. It’s an orange dollar bill that shows you the income you’ll likely need in retirement and the estimated progress you’ve already made toward that goal, based on your current savings balance. You can see how changing your retirement date and contribution level might affect your monthly retirement income.

Online Advice4,5

This service offers investment advice based on your investment accounts at that time, retirement income forecasts and quarterly Retirement Updates, all at no additional cost. This is a self-service solution where you can implement the advice yourself. Select the Voya Retirement Advisors (VRA)4 link under the More Resources tab in the top right corner of any page.

Social Security Guidance

If you’re getting closer to retirement age, it’s important to understand how Social Security works so you can maximize your benefits. The Program offers Social Security guidance at no additional cost. To access this service, go to More Resources in the top right corner of any page and select Voya Retirement Advisors. Follow the You can do the work path until you land on the Overview tab,6 then select the Income Planner tab.

Personal Financial Dashboard

This free online planning tool helps you organize your finances and assists you in making more educated money decisions. Select the Did You Know link on your login homepage and follow the instructions.
